Khan Brothers Group decided to set up a Local & export oriented shipyard at Charbataki, Gazaria, Munshiganj. Bangladesh. Incorporation in the year 2010 and the shipyard was formally inaugurated in early 2018. The facility is the largest amongst the shipyard of Bangladesh and is capable of producing steel works 15000 tons & 36 Nos Vessel Docking per year may be built and launched by balloon launching.
Under these circumstances, Khan Brothers Slipways & Engineering works Ltd. has decided to seek investment from Commercial Bank to exploit the upcoming market to the maximum possible level. There is a master plan to develop a large shipyard in the 1080 Decimal of land that has already been purchased. Some facilities have already been developed. However, because of commercial and economic considerations, the facilities have not been fully developed that would be required for building ships for foreign clients. The proposed loan financing is intended to develop a highly efficient shipyard equipped with all modern facilities so as to attract foreign buyers. The investment, market and projected financial performance of the proposal have been elaborated in the proposal.
At a later stage when commercial consideration will justify, the shipyard will be start the capacity will be able to process more than 15000 tons of steel & 36 Nos Vessel Docking and the capacity will be increases day by day.
